The evaluation process and time period begins after the fee is received.
An application is processed as quickly as possible after the fee is received. Experience shows that it may take up to 25 weeks if there are issues that need clarification or resolution before a recommendation can be made. If a 'Request for Information' (RFI) is issued, the clock stops until the provider has responded. Please see the Announcements section of QBS Programme Validation Services for information on how to respond to an RFI. The progress of each application can be tracked in QBS using the provider application’s programme code.
The evaluators will make a recommendation which may be to 'validate' OR to 'refuse validation'. The evaluators recommendation is presented to the Programmes and Awards Executive Committee (PAEC) for decision. The decision of the PAEC is communicated by email using the address submitted in the programme application.
