Appeals: Grade Changes

Centre coordinators:  if you have a learner who has successfully appealed a component grade which has already been certified, then you need to request that the result be amended on QBS and the certificate or transcript be reprinted.   

When sending in a result change(s) following a successful appeal(s), the following information should be supplied:

  • Centre code

  • Centre Contact Name

  • Contact Person - Mobile Number

  • Learner pps and name

  • Component code(s) and title(s)

  • New Grade(s)

There is no need to inform QQI of any appeals which do not result in a change of grade. 

Note that appeals of results to be submitted to CAO should be given priority and returned to QQI before the end of the first week in July.
